All For Loosey, Inc.
The idea of All For Loosey (AFL) was developed in August 2006, shortly after we adopted a
rescued puppy mill dog, a Jack Russell Terrier named Loosey, who came from a wonderful local
rescue organization.
Shortly after the adoption, I began volunteering with the rescue organization. It only took a few days for me to realize that there are too many dogs in need. Loosey, my second puppy mill dog, inspired me to take action. AFL is a foster shelter for rescued puppy mill dogs as well the over flow of city and county shelter animals in danger of being euthanized. The concept of a temporary foster shelter is for immediate need situations for hard to place animals, until local rescue groups can place them within their own organizations. Too many times these dogs are euthanized solely because of space issues.
Most dogs that are rescued from puppy mills or from the streets are great second chance dogs either for companionship or animal therapy applications. Through love, trust, and rehabilitation All For Loosey will give dogs in need a second chance for happiness!
To become part of our dream to grow AFL into an extraordinary society, working to meet the needs of all companion animals, please visit our “Goals” page.
